How To Find a Great Plantscaping Tech

Running ads in newspapers? Posting memos on grocery store bulletin boards? Calling Employee Recruiters? Sorry, that’s yesterday’s technology. As you already know, competition is fierce for the 10-14 dollar an hour employee. What to do?
GO WHERE THEY GO
Go where the potential employees go. If your target employee population is Hispanic, Lithuanian, Korean, etc… a visit to a local place of worship that has a large number of ethnic members just might pay off huge dividends. In fact, one of my VIP members just found an exceptional employee following this same advice. In her case, it was a matter of approaching the pastor and asking for his help in finding the right person.
LEGALITIES
Of course, she asked that the candidate have documentation, a clean drivers license, averifiable green card and an acceptable communication skills. From that one contact the ’scaper ended up with a great tech and, later, two of his family members to help with Holiday. A win/win for all.
