Business Card Data

Recently I was at an industry Trade Show and over the course of three days, collected a whole bunch of business cards. After the Show was over I had occasion to review them and I noticed something interesting.
"How Can I Reach You?"
Along with the information, I noticed that several cards did not list an e-mail address. Well, in today’s business climate, that is an important contact point. Leaving it off says a lot about you and your business sense. Same is true for addresses. You would be surprised at how many cards have no mailing address. Another "no-no". Then there are all those phone numbers. Land line, fax, and cell. Also important stuff. And web site addresses are another important bit of information. This along with your name, your company name, your title, what the company does and so on.
Doesn’t leave much room for much else, does it? And with all that information necessary, the print just seems to get smaller and smaller as our eyes get worse and worse.
It might be that it’s a good time to pull out your business card and look at it anew. Make sure all information is on there and that it is legible. If not, now is the time to fix it. Just one more step in the right direction.
